If you are going through a time of trauma with an abusive husband, read this and draw inspiration. Abigail's is a moving but highly readable story, demonstrating the effect of her growing faith on her personal strength. It is not easy to avoid being drawn in further to an abusive relationship, but Abigail shows how it can be done. I found this book so stimulating, I look forward to reading the next one.

It's so true that God uses everything we go through - the good, the bad and the ugly. Abigail's story will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. You will feel her pain. You will feel angry. You will be shouting 'pack your bags and leave'. Fortunately Abigail did eventually make that brave decision to escape with her 5 children. More importantly she did it trusting in God, that not only would there be light at the end of the tunnel but that there would be light in the tunnel also. When we put our trust in Him, he directs our path, even when we don't understand - I suppose this is what faith is all about. I'm so glad Abigail had that faith as it's resulted in her being able to rebuild her life and have a brand new start where she is able to bring hope and healing to others. This is definitely a book to give to someone if you suspect they maybe going through a similar situation.

I want to thank the writer for telling her tragic story but one that demonstrates God's incredible faithfulness to those who honour and trust Him. The way Abigail tells her story takes the reader on an emotional journey that would otherwise be hard to imagine. Thank you so much.
